Bridging the time

As she looked back at the bygones

she felt trapped in a predicament ~

should she have handled it differently

and not missed certain opportunities

that she did due to her shaken will

but, then better sense prevailed

during days of solitude when she

introspected and it dawned on her that

its these very incidents that

shaped her to become who she is today ~

a truly spirited strong woman

who always holds up her head high

no matter, what life brings on to her

she, also, realized that if she

wasted her time asking "Why me"?

she would forever remain rooted at ground zero

with her soul constantly egging her to move on

she did so by taking the path less known

leaving behind indelible imprints of her own

in the sands of time inscribing that

no matter what the seasons of life bring

she would never change from the inside

keeping her I, Me n' Myself intact..!!

Lost in TIME

In the midst of a crowd, I often wonder,

why do I feel the pangs' of bein' a lone wanderer?

can't avoid this melee, it's a part of my daily grind,

to seek my living n' keep pace with the moving times.

I come across placid faces in different places,

endless wave of unseemingly strange faces,

masking my face with mysterious expressions,

such that no one finds out that my soul is barren.

Will I ever be able to be the real ME?

from the worldy ties, will I ever set myself free?

time speaks for itself, is what I'm told ~

have waited long enough but time is yet to unfold,

how many more seasons will I have to pass?

or, will this remain as such till my last..??

ME

a new dawn, a new beginning

I've set foot on a new inning

it took me real long

to find the place where I belong

n' now that I know ~

I'm seeing the world anew

to the sorrows, I bid adieu

I set myself free

taking control of my destiny

a changed person is what I see

I am glad I found the real ME!

Moments Of Life

many moments in my life
passed through by
some were told,
many remained untold
season after season
one after one they
never remained still
and continued to grow

they are a part of me
these moments of my life
they transcend space and time
and stand unified yet diverse
in their very nature
leaving pearls of wisdom
as their footprints
strung to each other
tracing my journey of life

seasons change but
they continue to flow
I reach out to them
to know more and more
to be able to sift
the surreal from the whole
as these passing moments
embellish and kinder my soul
I am eager to reach to
the other end of the shore

not a day not an hour
not a second is spared
the canvas holds in it
every color of life
like the meadows that
are lively and wild
painted vividly by
the hands of the unseen
a picture that reveals
the story that's -
I, ME & MY LIFE.
